Join LYNN DAVIES in POCKET LANDSCAPES, an introductory course to teach you the basics of quickly capturing small landscapes with watercolor and gouache paints. You’ll learn the fundamental tools and skills to paint your surroundings or favorite vacation spot with no pressure. The focus is not to produce a ‘perfect’ painting but to create a vibrant scene with little fuss, good or bad, and then move on to the next painting. You’ll see your abilities grow through repetition and having fun.

Digital painting is quickly becoming a popular alternative or adjunct to traditional painting. Lynn’s digital work is unique in its painterly quality. She gives clear instruction and demonstration with live models, helping beginners tackle their fears of using computers to make fine art.
Lynn uses her expertise as an award-winning artist with decades of experience oil painting from life to teach students fundamentals including lighting, colour, anatomy, value and composition.
